Video Games and Gaming Teachers Part Two

Last post was the beginning of what Video Games and Gaming can teach us.

Let's get a grasp of what a single player Video Game called Fable can teach you. First and foremost, Fable teaches you navigation skills and the consequences to actions that are not desirable (choosing to be bad as opposed to being good). Calmness in overwhelming situations and quickness in reaction times.

What about a MMORPG like Ogre Island? It begins with human interaction as an added chat feature to this family friendly game which teaches social skills. Navigation and quick reaction times, enhanced memory and landscape awareness.

Gauntlet Legends teaches calm and button memory for combos causing faster reaction times and hand eye coordination.

Movie Games and Dance Dance Revolution teaches speed, dexterity, and with DDR, the added advantage of balance with exercise.
